About Me

I live in Manhattan with my son, husband, and dog. I got my start in accounting and later transitioned into a second career in technology as an automation tester and engineering leader. You can read the full story of my career transition in my blog post.

Currently, I am an Engineering Manager at Healthie, leading our quality engineering efforts. I manage a hybrid team of automated and manual testers, and I am focused on establishing modern QA pipelines, implementing mandatory code coverage gates, and migrating our legacy Capybara/Selenium suite to Playwright. We've heavily integrated AI into our daily workflows—from test case design to Playwright scripting—as a productivity accelerator rather than a crutch, and we've successfully scaled our build success rates from 10% to 90% by actively eliminating test flakiness.

Previously, I spent several years heading up the technical test team at Better.com. My focus there was to scale test automation while maintaining high developer velocity. Over time, I expanded my scope to build their formal Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice and manage their Product Support operations. Managing these three teams was a fast-paced, challenging, and deeply rewarding experience that shaped my philosophy on quality and reliability.

In my spare time, I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction. I love diving into new technical topics, building projects, and spending time with my son (who is currently obsessed with Minecraft). Outside of tech, I enjoy cycling around the city and skiing.
